Spy shots of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS
These images prove that the facelift handed down to Porsche's 911 range and given to the coupe, Cabriolet, Targa and Turbo models recently, will soon become available for the high-performance GT3 RS, too.
The new GT3 RS was snapped in the French mountains where it was testing along side the current model.
Cosmetic changes, in typical Zuffenhausen fashion, hve been limited and the car will retain its "GT3 RS" side decals, colored wheels, decorative strip and side mirrors finished in contrasting paint. Also, look out for the imposing rear wing endplates and race-ready roll cage.
RS's weight-saving components will include a polycarbonate rear window, and carbon fiber hood and rear wing which should help the new RS hustle to 60 in a scant four seconds flat.
