Common 6061 would have been cheaper and easier, but 7075 is nearly twice as strong—and this is not a part where we felt like saving a few bucks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e17-4PH Stainless, H900\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe shaft and articulation eyelets are machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and heat treated to the ultra-strong H900 condition.
